Tudor And Porsche Motorsport Have Reached A Strategic Brand Partnership

The Tudor brand belongs to Rolex, the prestigious Swiss watch company. He reached a strategic partnership with Porsche Racing last month. This collaboration coincided with the introduction of a new high-end sports watch series by Tudor, which was called ‘Grantour’. From the 2009 season, which will begin in Bahrain on April 18th and 19th, Tudor will become the official “timer partner” of the famous Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup Championship.

Tudor and Porsche have always shared the same values, which are brought by two outstanding people. One is a Bavarian and the other is a Bohemian. They are Hans Wilsdorf and Ferdinand Porsche. They have struggled in their respective fields of business. They have each established their own company and have achieved extreme global success. Great success. At the beginning of the twentieth century, Wilsdorf established his own company in Switzerland, the source of the global watchmaking industry, and devoted himself to the role of Rolex.
Wilsdorf, out of his interest in the British medieval royal Tudor dynasty, acquired the brand named ‘Tudor’ in 1926 and began producing watches under this brand since 1946. Tudor Tudor and Porsche both introduced their respective products in the 1960s-the very successful Tudor Prince and Porsche 911. This Tudor fascinates Mercedes Porsche drivers on legendary runways around the world, such as Nürburgring, Daytona, Monza, Le Mans and many more. The Tudor Oyster Date Chronograph became a typical “Porsche Porsche” immediately after it was launched in 1971, and became a popular model among collectors.
